About the position
As a Control Engineer you specify, develop, program and test upgrades to our PLC operating systems. After successful (off-line) testing, you play a vital role in commissioning the equipment.
In case of technical disturbances, you solve or provide support to resolve these disturbances. If disturbances are reoccurring, you conduct an analysis (for instance by data study or RCA). After finalizing your investigation, you propose and implement solutions to eliminate the issue at hand and prevent future disturbances.
It goes without saying that you take care of documenting the implemented changes and make sure the information is shared with all the stakeholders. Last but not least you assess the condition of our machinery and analyze data in order to avoid defects/ downtime and scrap.
